Making the perfect use of a brand that was more than popular in the good old days, HMD Global has released a smartphone today which is a perfect power-house. We are talking about the brand new Nokia 8. This new phone happens to be the very first flagship device under the umbrella of Nokia. The new Nokia 8 is packed up with many features that the users won’t find on other smartphones, particularly on the iPhone(s). We have just made a list of the things that the Nokia 8 can do but iPhone can’t do. Let’s have a look at what this new Nokia 8 flagship is capable of.

While the Nokia 8 is a smartphone, away from the phablet series, we are not going to compare with the bigger version of iPhone. Nokia 8 can stand in line with the iPhone 7 easily. If we talk about the most recent iPhone, which is the iPhone 7, it has a display of 4.7-inch only with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels. On the contrary, the Nokia 8 has a 5.3-inch screen with QHD resolution. This makes the Nokia 8 a clear winner in this department. You have a top-notch and a far better display to enjoy on the new Nokia 8 handset. Nokia 8’s display is capable of producing better graphics as compared to the iPhone 7.
So you want to live stream a video on Facebook or Youtube, but you want to make the use of both cameras of your phone. This is not going to be possible on any other Android smartphone except the new Nokia 8. The Nokia 8 has a bothie feature which turns on both the cameras of the phone while live-streaming a video or recording a video. It splits the screen into half showing the result of the front camera on one side and back camera on the other. Nokia 8 has a dual-rear-camera setup having both the shooters of 13 MP. A same 13 MP single shooter is mounted on the front. Nokia says it’s more about bothie and not a selfie anymore.
Because the Nokia 8 is powered up with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835, it makes the use of Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 as well. Quick Charge 3.0 is intelligent enough to provide your phone the appropriate power to charge it quickly depending on the remaining battery percentage. Qualcomm’s 5 for 5 slogan means 5 minutes of charging can make your phone last up to 5 hours.
Your iPhone simply cannot beat this!
I personally like this feature the most. Nokia has worked hard to bring this technology to their new phone. OZO Audio enables Nokia 8 owners to record Spatial 360 audio. To understand this better, you can assume that the sound recording with the OZO Audio comes from every single angle in a video being played. This feature is also useful if a smartphone has 3 or 4 mics. OZO Audio can make the use of all the available mics to record the Spatial 360 Audio. It’s a perfect way to experience the best sound while living and losing yourself in that moment. Here is a video demonstrating the Audio recorded with the OZO Audio.
Nokia 8 is equipped with the latest Bluetooth 5.0. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus both have Bluetooth 4.2. So yeah, the Nokia 8 beats the iPhone in this department as well.
Last, but not the least. And in the end, how can we forget the courage that Apple had to remove the headphone jack? Guess what, Nokia is intelligent. Nokia hasn’t removed the headphone jack and it doesn’t have the courage to face all the backlash from its users. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the Nokia 8 that you can use to plug in any headphone supporting this port. You do not need to spend your hard-earned bucks to purchase an exclusive headphone.
