Rumor Has It: Upcoming Google Pixel smartphones to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack

Another day in rumor land and today, with the MWC announcements out of the way, people have shifted their focus on the smartphones that are landing next. The upcoming Google Pixel smartphone is in the limelight today. According to a new report the next Google Pixel smartphones will ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Apple with iPhone 7 ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack, since then this has been a feature that Android smartphone makers are a bit unsure about. It was rumored that Samsung reportedly will jump the bandwagon with Galaxy S8, but they haven’t done so. Now it looks as if Google is working on getting rid of this feature and making it a standard for their devices.

This information comes through the company documents which cannot be confirmed yet. Companies always deliberate about different features that they want to include in their smartphones.
