Nokia is off to a good start with their first Android powered smartphone Nokia 6 selling out in one minute in its first flash sale on 19th January. They have already hinted that they are planning something for the MWC 2017 coming up next month too. Well it seems that Nokia is not only working on smartphones but are also working on a tablet. A Nokia tablet with some amazing specs was spotted at GFXBench.
The name of the tablet was not listed on GFXBench, but the rest of the specs were listed. Lets have a look at what is Nokia working on. The tablet will sport an 18.5-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution display. It will be equipped with Qualacomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor which will paired with a 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory. Snapdragon 835 has been produced using the 9nm process and is the chipset used by other flagships this year. The Nokia tablet will have a 12MP main camera with can create 4K videos and a 12MP front facing camera with the same features. This year we have seem companies focusing on improving the features of the front facing camera which is a great thing given the rise of video content. The tablet will definitely be powered by the Android 7.0 Nougat.
There is a strong possibility that Nokia may unveil this tablet along with Nokia P1 at the event. As far as the specs go, the tablet offers users some nice features. Along with that looking at the size of the tablet, Nokia seems to be working on offering users something that the rest of the manufacturers don’t which is a good thing. We will get to know more about this Nokia tablet and other things that the company is working on.
