In this Article,  we will show you How To Install Hyperdrive RLS17.1 KitKat Custom ROM On Verizon Galaxy S4.But before we begin, make sure:

Installation Process (MDK Unlocked Phones):

  • Connect your device with PC.
  • Copy and Paste the Above zip files to the root of your sdcard.
  • Disconnect the cable.
  • Turn Off your Device
  • Open Recovery mode. How? Press and hold the Volume Up + Home + Power buttons until you see some text on screen.

CWM/PhilZ Touch Recovery Users.

  1. Back-up your ROM using the Recovery.
  2. To Perform a Back-up, Navigate to Back-up and Restore on Next screen, Choose Back-up again.
  3. Go back to Main Screen after the Back-up is complete.
  4. First Choose ‘Wipe Cache’.
  5. Then Navigate to ‘advance’ and choose ‘Devlik Wipe Cache’, so you won’t get in any bootloop.
  6. Then Finally Choose Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
  7. Navigate to ‘Install zip from sd card’ another windows will open in front of you.
  8. Select ‘choose zip from sd card’ from the Options.
  9. Select the file and confirm the installation on next screen.
  10. Once the Installation is Over, Go back and Flash Google Apps.
  11. Once the Installation is Over, Select +++++Go Back+++++
  12. Select Reboot Now to Reboot the System.

TWRP Users.

  1. Tap on Wipe Button and Select Cache, System, Data.
  2. Swipe the Confirmation Slider.
  3. Go back to Main Menu and Tap Install Button.
  4. Locate the, Google Apps and Swipe the Slider To install it.
  5. Once the Installation is Over, you will be promoted to Reboot System Now
  6. Select Reboot Now to Reboot the System.

Solve Signature Verification Error:

  1. Open Recovery.
  2. Navigate to install zip from Sdcard
  3. Navigate to Toggle Signature Verification and Press Power Button and See if it is disabled or not. Disable it and then Install the Zip without any Error.

First Boot might take up-to 10 minutes, so let your device rest for 10 minutes as you do something else.

FOR 4.4.2 Locked Phones:

All the SafeStrap users must first update their device to Stock Android 4.4.2 Kit-Kat and flash SafeStarp Recovery, before flashing this ROM

  1. Download the ROM file.
  2. Open SafeStrap Recovery.
  3. You must Flash the ROM on Stock Slot with SS3.72
  4. Now Choose Wipe > Advance Wipe.
  5. Check all option except Micro SD.
  6. Choose Install option and Install ROM.
  7. Flash Super SU to root your device.
  8. Now you must have to Flash the found in SafeStrap thread (link given above) otherwise, your Wi-Fi won’t work.
  9. Reboot the device, first boot may take up-to 10 minutes, so please be patient
