Samsung’s newest flagship devices, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge came out and stunned everyone. The Galaxy S7 equipped a 5.1-inch QHD display with 577 PPI and a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It’s a Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Samsung made the display of the Galaxy S7 much more enchanting with the help of the Always-on display which makes it easy for the users to reach out to their notifications on the go. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge both were IP68 certified which made them dustproof and water-resistant.
Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are made out of glass. Samsung has used the Gorilla Glass 4 protection on the front and at the back as well. This protection is enough for a smartphone, but even then you should take care of the display and apply a qualitative screen protector as soon as you unbox your new Samsung Galaxy S7. Now applying the screen protector has several advantages.
It won’t let the screen of your Galaxy S7 catch any scratches, and if you’ve applied a glass protector, it will definitely save your phone from some severe shocks as well. You can always apply for the best possible protection on the screen of your smartphone, but unfortunate things happen and there’s no way to avoid them. One of the most unfortunate things that can happen to a smartphone is the break down of its screen. Galaxy S7’s screen is sensitive and any minor incident can leave some serious cracks in it.
A friend of mine recently bought a Galaxy S7 and absolutely fell in love with this device. Just a few days back, he was moving around while holding the phone in his hands. Galaxy S7’s glass body makes it slippery and this is what just happened, the phone slipped out of his hands and hit the floor. In the blink of an eye, his S7’s screen was full of scratches and the phone was totally unresponsive. He tried restarting the phone, the display turned on but it showed nothing.
The only solution was to take the phone to a service center and get the screen replaced, but before that, copying all the private data, pictures and media content was important. He tried connecting the phone to his PC, but it was locked so the PC didn’t show anything. The phone was fingerprint protected, but the phone rebooted so he couldn’t unlock it using fingerprint since the very first time it requires to enter the password or pin which was also impossible to access because of the broken display.
To overcome this problem, we looked out for a method and successfully managed to unlock the phone and recover all the data. The method that we used is illustrated in several steps here for the users who’ve had this unfortunate incident. Let’s have a look on that and recover the data from your Broken Screen Galaxy S7.

Be reminded that this method will only work if your phone was protected by a fingerprint/password and now both these options aren’t working for you. If your phone didn’t have a password, you can simply connect it to your computer and copy all the data. But just in case you’re stuck in a situation like the one I explained above, you’re going to need to follow this little trick and recover your data now.
I hope that this guide has worked out for you. Let us know if you’re facing some other issues, we will try to get back to your as soon as possible.
