Galaxy Note 10 Speaker Distortion
Both the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus are two of the most expensive Samsung smartphones. Any minor issue occurring out of nowhere can get the Note 10 owners scratching their heads. Recently, a number of Galaxy Note 10 owners started reporting the speaker distortion problem in a Reddit thread.
Galaxy Note 10 comes with two speakers. The stereo speakers setup has 1 speaker at the bottom and one speaker is at the top of the screen. Both speakers work together to produce a stereo sound. Galaxy Note 10 is also equipped with features like Dolby Atmos. The sound enhancement options of this phone can take the sound experience to a whole new level.
The distortion faced by the Galaxy Note 10 owners includes an eery sound when they are listening to a podcast. The issue also happens when someone in a video speaks a little louder. Note 10’s back around its camera vibrates, which is pretty normal. The rear of phones like Galaxy S10, S10 5G, and S10 Plus also vibrates. So, Note 10’s rear vibrating with sound effects is normal, but if it’s sound is being distorted, it definitely has an issue.
Furthermore, a user reported that the distortion happens only when you are listening at full volume. Note 10’s speakers are designed to output any level of sound smoothly, the distortion should not happen in the first place regardless of the volume level.
Fortunately, the solution to this problem was also presented by a couple of users. If you have been facing this problem, take a look at the steps below to fix it right away.

Just wanted to share my exp with a note 20 ultra. My speaker started distorting after a short 3hr flight. After thinking about the static pressure difference, i unmounted the sd and pulled the tray. This equalized pressure inside the phone. I wouldnt be surprised if more water resistant phones are experiencing this pressure imbalance. Ive seen similar issues in my career with pressure controls.
