Unc0ver 3.5 & 3.6
First of all, in case you are not familiar, the Unc0ver is the famous Jailbreak tool that installs Cydia on your device. A couple of months back, the Unc0ver 3.3.0 came out that Jailbroke iOS 11, iOS 12.1 and iOS 12.2 powered devices. That version of Unc0ver supported the devices powered by A7 – A11 chipsets. The latest version of iOS back then was iOS 12.3. Users who were already on the older version of iOS got a chance to enjoy Jailbreak. The iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max users were left out as their chipset wasn’t supported.
A few days back, the Unc0ver 3.5.0 came out. The developer took it to twitter to announce the break the big news. The Unc0ver 3.5.0 was the biggest Unc0ver update ever as it supported the public stable version of iOS. After a number of years, a current active iOS version was Jailbroken for the first time. Unc0ver 3.5.0, with the help of SockPuppet3 exploit, supported iOS 12.4 Jailbreak on all A7 – A11 iPhones and iPads.
At this point, we were one more step close to getting the Jailbreak support for A12 Bionic-powered devices. This includes the latest iPhone XR/XS/XS Max and the new iPads as well. Pwn20wnd did release the Unc0ver 3.5.3 with partial support for iOS 12.4 on A12 devices, but partial support means no Cydia and it breaks a lot of other things.
Just today, the developer announced Unc0ver 3.5.5, which again is a piece of big news. The Unc0ver 3.5.5 now fully supports all A12 devices. It also fixes all previous bugs. It means that you can now Jailbreak iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.
