Change Your Default DNS to Google DNS for Fast Internet Speeds:
Here is how you can change your default DNS to Google DNS. Follow the steps below;
- First of all, go to your computer’s Control Panel> Network and Sharing.
- On the left sidebar, you will see the option ‘Change Adapter Settings’. Click on it.
- Here, you will see all the connections available for your PC. Click on the network whose DNS you wish to change.
- Right-click on the network you have chosen and click on ‘Properties’ from the menu.
- In the properties, click on the tab that is named ‘Networking’.
- Under this tab, you will see ‘This network uses the following items’. In this list of items, find and select ‘Internet Service Provider Version 4(TCP/IPV4)’.
- Now, click on ‘Properties’ right under the list.
- In properties, you will see ‘Use the following DNS server addresses’.
- Here, delete the previously written IP address and replace it with 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
- Once you have done that, click on Ok.
- Next, restart your computer to assign the new Google DNS.
