APK: Pixel 2 portrait mode on any Android device

Here’s how to get Pixel 2 portrait mode on any Android device. Those who don’t have Google Pixel devices they can enjoy all the Pixel 2 camera features on their regular Android device. All you have to do is Install the modded GCam app.

Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have the best cameras as compared to all other Android devices. Moreover, with their advance new technology, Pixel device performs really well in the light and also in low-light conditions. The best thing about Pixel 2 camera is the Portrait Mode. However, we have seen Portrait Mode in iPhone X and Galaxy Note 8 as well. But Google Pixel 2 Portrait Mode is far way better than others.

Although Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL don’t have two cameras like iPhone X and Note 8, still these devices performed very well in portrait shots. Well, I have a good news for them, Thanks to XDA Member Arnova8G2, we can now get most of the Pixel 2 camera features on non-Google devices.

Arnova8G2 recently launched a modded GCam app which has all the main features of Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL cameras. You can easily install the GCam app on any Android device running Android 8.0 Oreo. Once you have installed the app, all you have to do is open it and start using the Portrait mode. Moreover, you don’t need to root your Android device in order to use the modded GCam app.

Heed the following instructions to install the modded GCam app on your Android devices.

GCam app is under development, there will be some bugs and also the app will crash sometimes.

Download GCam APK for Android

  1. Download GCam APK Download Link
  2. Copy the downloaded APK file to your phone.
  3. On your phone, go to Settings > Security > Unknown Sources > Tap radio button to allow.
  4. Now using a File Manager, locate and open GCam APK.
  5. Proceed with the on-screen instructions to finish GCam APK installation.
  6. Once done, launch the game from the app drawer.
