Xaiomi is a name synonymous for producing top the line smartphones. With Xiomi MI Mix the company introduced the first bezel less display, as the smartphone has a 94% screen to body ratio. While other industry leaders like Samsung and Apple have not been able to achieve that yet. Xaiomi at the moment is only available Asian markets with the company looking forward to a global expansion. To make their devices even more effective, Xaiomi recently decided to produce its own Pinecone processors. According to the new information, it seems that they are indeed working towards it and Xiamoi Mi 5C will be the first smartphone to have its own Pinecone processor.

Earlier reports suggested that Xiaomi Mi 5C will use Snapdragon 625 chipset, but that does not seem to be the case anymore. Xiomi Mi 5C which has been given the code name Meri, will be powered by octa-core Pinecone processor, accompanied by Mali-T860 GPU. Right now the model number for the chipset is not available, more detail about this will come in the coming day.

The device will come with a 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.  Xaimoi Mi 5C  will feature a 12 MP main camera with Omnivision OV12870 sensor and 8 MP front facing camera with Omnivision OV8865 sensor. The smartphone will run MIUI OS and will be powered by a whooping 4500mAh battery.

As of yet we do not know till when Xiaomi Mi5C will be announced officially and if 2017 will be the year when Xiaomi pushes its smartphones in international markets.  Stay tuned for more updates about Xiaomi’s plans and its new smartphones will be coming your way soon.
