Xiaomi Mi MIX heading to markets outside China

0

Xiaomi Mi MIX is a stunning smartphone, one of first designs to have very minimal bezels and 85% screen to body ratio. The only downside, we cannot get our hands on the device as it is only available in the Chinese markets. But it looks as if things are changing, Xaiomi will be bringing Mi Mix to different markets globally. Looking at the demand of the smartphone in different markets, Xiaomi has made the decision to go global.

The first market that Xiaomi will be heading to is UAE, where they will not only be launching Mi MIX but also Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4A.  The devices will be available online and with different retailers like Etisalat and Carrefour in March. Xiaomi Mi Mix will be priced at AED 2,999 ($816), the Redmi Note 4 will retail at AED 659 and Redmi 4A will be AED 389. Xiaomi will not only be targeting different markets in Middle East as their expansion plans also include North Africa.

As far as the US market goes, its very unlikely that Xiaomi will be heading there as the company would end up facing different law suits on patent infringement. As far as their presence at the MWC 2017 goes, they haven’t announced anything and there is a chance that they will miss out on the event altogether. Xiaomi was present at the CES 2017, but there they only launched the white colored variant of Mi MIX.
