Show WiFi Password Android: [ Rooted Devices ]

Before moving on let me tell you one thing, you need a rooted device in order to view saved WiFi passwords on your Android device. If your device has no root access you can check out Android Rooting sections for guides.

  • Download and install ES File Explorer on your Android device.
  • Open Internal Storage. 
  • Search for a directory called root.
  • Once you are in the right directory, navigate through data/misc/wifi.
  • Here in WiFi folder, you’ll see a file named as wpa_supplicant.conf.
  • Tap on it and open it with built-in text/HTML viewer.
  • All the networks and their passwords will be in wpa_supplicant.conf file. Keep that in mind don’t edit this file.

Show WiFi Password iOS: [ Jailbroken ]

You need Jailbroken device in order to view save passwords on your iOS devices. Follow the instruction given below.

  • Open Cydia on your iOS device.
  • Install a tweak called NetworkList.
  • Once the NetworkList is installed, Open Settings on your device.
  • Tap on WiFi, now you’ll see a new option at the bottom. { Network Passwords }.
  • Tap on Network Passwordsyou’ll see the list of all WiFi networks which you’ve used.
  • Just tap on any network and you’ll able to see Wi-Fi passwords.
