Update Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900 to Android 5.0 Lollipop Leaked Firmware

Previously we posted the Android 5.0 Lollipop Leaked firmware for Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005and today we have learned that Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900, the Exynos version has received the Leaked firmware of Android 5.0 Lollipop, even better news, the person who mirrored it has also provided the Root for this version too, however, that is a talk of another post. The ROM and the download link, all is in Simplified Han, so please either translate into English before clicking anything else, or see our Guide to learn how the Download button looks, after Flashing the ROM, Choose Primary Language as English and proceed.

We will be using Odin in tutorial, although the method won’t be the same as usual, cause this time there multiple files instead of a single one. Without further ado, let us continue, instead of PDA bar only, this time all the options will be selected. This ROM and version is quite stable and perfect than the Previous one and works like a charm without any problem, if there is any, you will found the removed in next update.

  • @mohammedburn:disqus the firmware will be out very soon and we will publish the update here as well. Don’t worry, selling iphone will be a good decision. Just keep a little patience.

  • Paul Thomas SGone

Did anyone made the update, How is it? Any bug’s? Any problem at install? I want and I don’t want it

  • Mudit

Will it work for N900DDUEG1 ?

  • @disqus_7c6La2kM41:disqus If you only want to root, then flash some new firmware from scratch and try flashing CF auto root again. And yes, this update will work for your device. The method to root lollipop is different, and available on our site as well.

I just successfully installed lollipop in my Note 3 SM N900 and its working fine and looks beautiful but facebook doesn’t work and there is no option of wifi direct.

    • Laye Laye

      Hi
Is the wifi direct trouble fixed ? and is there any other problem you saw.
I have the same model of note 3 than yours and I’m a little anxious about intalling Lollipop.
      Thanx.

      • @layelaye:disqus you can install this firmware, as i haven’t tested it myself, i can’t be sure about WiFi direct, and its problem. You will have to see that on your own.

        • if you don’t use WiFi direct, you shouldn’t care about that and install this firmware.

      • Harsh

        yes….. This version works fine.

    • Hi Harsh,
I have same issue may I know how did you fix it?

      • @hari_kanth:disqus can you explain the issue?

        • I have Note 3 SM N900, after installing the official lollipop update, Facebook app is not working. ‘Unfortunately, Facebook has stopped’ is the error I get when I try to open the app. Please suggest a fix.

          • @hari_kanth:disqus go to application manager in settings and wipe cache and data of facebook app. Restart your device and try it again.

          • Actually there is nothing in cache to clear. Even uninstalled the app and reinstalled no luck. It didn’t work from from installing the lollipop firmware.

          • Harsh

Download facebook app from the following link. Choose version 24.0.0.30.15~5955479~ http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/facebook-2/facebook/facebook-24-0-0-0-1-apk/

          • I just read that Samsung has rolled out Lollipop update (Build number N900XXUEBOB2) for Note 3 SM-N900 in India. Now is there a way I can update this firmware? Right now I’m using Build number : N900XXUEBNL8.

  • Harsh

Its working fine and i found wifi direct to share big files. But u cant use facebook app downloaded from app store because facebook app not opened. If u want to open facebook then u have to install another facebook app or u can use flipboad app under the glaxy app menu.
Lollipop look is so beaitiful and music player theme is so beautiful. If u install the lollipop u dont regret why u flash lollipop.

  • @sayyedshoab:disqus yes.

  • @ganeshbaba:disqus you need to make a clean installation. Try flashing this firmware once again, but before you do, perform a factory reset and then flash this rom. It should boot up properly.

  • @sayyedshoab:disqus just follow the guide and instructions as explained above. There shouldn’t be a problem.

  • @disqus_U0YlxNgPV1:disqus might be a bug in this firmware. Not sure about that issue.

  • Sebas

This does not happen to me… The handwriting works well and battery lasts more…

  • Harsh

Thanks sir…. now facebook workingg fine.

  • Harsh

yes…all problems fixed. Facebook app now works fine
