Samsung just introduced the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge to the world a few hours ago. Samsung has introduced a handful of new features on both these devices. One of the mainstream change is in the camera department. Samsung downgraded the camera from 16 MP to 12 MP on both these smartphones. Although it’s low in number of pixels, but the camera has got great capabilities. It has got better and larger individual pixel capturing capabilities and can also shoot very well in low lightening conditions. Samsung has used f/1.7 lens, which is the widest lens for any smartphone ever. The phone is 95% more efficient to capture shots in low-light conditions.
To show off the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge’s stunning shooting capabilities, Samsung has just posted a handful of sample photographs taken by the camera of aforementioned smartphones. Have a look on the samples and know by yourself about the DSLR-like shooting abilities of Samsung’s new duo.
Samsung has equipped these devices with Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 chipsets. A RAM of 4 GB, internal storage of 32 GB with external SD card slot is there. Galaxy S7 hosts a 3000 mAh battery and the S7 Edge hosts a 3700 mAh battery. Both these smartphones run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
