Just recently, LG Stylus 2 Plus phablet just surfaced silently on their Taiwanese website. The announcement might have gone unnoticed for considerable period, if not for the certification listing by TENAA.
As compared to the previously announced LG Stylus 2, the ‘Plus’ variant comes with some eye catching enhancements. The handset now sports a 5.7-inch Full HD display and is powered by a more powerful, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. For the ones who haven’t heard of the chipset, it includes an octa-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53 CPU. Note that the Stylus came with a Quad-core chipset. In addition to that, it features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
In the camera department, we have a 16 megapixel rear camera, whereas at the front, a 8 megapixel camera is available for selfies and video chats. The 3,000mAh battery finalizes the device weight at 146 grams and measures 155 x 79.6 x 7.4 mm. Other features include Cat. 4 LTE, dual-SIM slot and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The device can be bought for TWD 10,990 ($340), though it must be mentioned that the LG Stylus 2 Plus will reach stores in late June. We’ll update you as soon as any information regarding the global availablity in received.
