TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45: Specs, Price and Release Dates

There is still a space in the Android smartwatch market for watches that are not only functional but elegant as well. Very few smartwatches fit that category. TAG Heuer with their first smartwatch did an amazing job and they are planning to announce a new smartwatch with Android Wear 2.0 on board. The company will be officially announcing the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 smartwatch today.

The best feature of the smartwatch is that you will be able to switch between the Connected module and the mechanical module at any time. In the mood for the classic look, go ahead and switch to modular; making an online payment through your smartwatch, switch to the connected mode. The modular mode comes the ‘Swiss Made’ certification.

The Connected Modular 45 features a 45 mm AMOLED display with  an Intel chipset along with 4GB storage. Along with that it offers water resistance up to 50 meters (50ATM), WiFi, NFC (Android Pay), GPS. As Android Wear supports Android Pay, users will be able to make payments through their watches without their smartphones.  The battery will work for more than 24 hours.

Users will have the option of customizing the watch by changing different straps. There are different rubber straps in black, blue, red, yellow, green, orange and electric blue color along with calfskin and rubber combo straps, ceramic straps and titanium bracelets. So, you will have something for every occasion, date night, meeting clients or going hiking, spify up your wardrobe. Not only the straps, but the lugs will also be changeable, You have the option of titanium, titanium with diamonds and titanium with 18K rose gold, titanium with black ceramic finish. So, there are a lot of options and possibilities.

The smartwatch, TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 will retail at $1,650 in US and the dates for its official release will be announced soon.
