T-Mobile will start rolling out its LG G Pad X 8.0 from mid-May

The famous leakster, Evan Blass, surfaced again with yet another leak, claiming that T-Mobile is gearing up to launch the LG G Pad X 8.0 from this May. Note that different variants of G Pad X are already being sold by AT&T and Verizon. Although AT&T is offering the tablet with 10 inches screen size and Verizon with 8.3 inches, T-Mobile’s device will sport a 8.0 inch screen.

The upcoming tablet has almost similar specification to the one being sold by Verizon. Lets compare the specification of both devices. Both, 8.3 and 8.0 inch tablet, are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset which includes an octa-core 1.5 GHz processor. The larger of the two comes with 1920 x 1080 FullHD display while the smaller sibling features an even better, 1920 x 1200 pixel WUXGA display. Moving on to the camera department, Verizon’s tablet features a 8 megapixel primary camera in addition to a 2 megapixel selfie shooter. As for the T-Mobile’s version, identical 5 megapixel shooters will be available in front and back.

The upcoming tablet comes with a slightly smaller battery, maybe due to its smaller screen size. To be more precise, The LG G Pad X 8.0 features a 4650 mAh battery while 8.3 variant by Verizon is powered by 4800 mAh battery. Apart from the aforementioned differences, both tablets host similar specifications, for instance, a full-size USB port.

Unfortunately we haven’t yet heard information regarding the exact price of the tablet, but we are expecting to see T-Mobile’s G Pad X 8.0 price tagged around $300 once it is released in mid-May. These speculations are based on the fact that the tablet’s slightly elder sibling carries the same $300 price. Stay tuned for the latest information.
