T-Mobile Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge updated to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow


T-Mobile users! Good day for all of you is here. T-Mobile has finally started pushing the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow into its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S6 carries the build number G920TUVU3EPD1 and for the S6 Edge carries the build numberĀ 925TUVU3EPD1. SM-N920T and SM-N925T are the model numbers for T-Mobile’s S6 and S6 Edge respectively.

Like the Marshmallow build on other variants of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, T-Mobile’s phones have also got a number of cool and notable enhancements. At first, the new color in the toggles is something cool. T-Mobile’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are supposed to have additional quick settings toggles in the private mode, install overnight updates option, new emojis and a lot more. Performance and battery life have definitely got better in this new system update. New fingerprint not recognised vibration alert is there as well. Security patches from the month of December are embedded in this update.

T-Mobile’s S6 and S6 Edge are currently receiving this update through OTA. In order to update your phone, go to settings > about device > software update > check for new update and install new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on your phone.
