Did you just stop while reading the title? No! We’re not kidding. Samsung has surprisingly started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat to it’s latest flagship phablet Galaxy Note 3’s LTE variant in Poland. Folks over Sammobile have suggested that the update is being rolled out to the users in Poland via Samsung Kies and OTA. Last night a test firmware was spotted as well having a build number N9005XXUENA6 and it looks like the update also has the same build number.
Leaked update gave us a pretty good idea about what’s new in the firmware, the icons atop of the screen in the notification panel have turned white from the old green Gingerbread style to the newest KitKat style. The update most probably packs up minor bug fixes, stability and performance enhancements. While you may want to get your hands on this latest update sooner than the time, you may have to go through a manual installation process using Odin.
As usual, the updates roll out slowly and hit the different regions of world by time. So, don’t worry if you are not seeing any chances of the update right at the moment, just wait and keep patience or else as said above use Odin to update.
Here are the firmware details:
Version: Android 4.4.2
Build date: Thu, 09 Jan 2014 14:20:24 +0000
Product Code: XEO
