LG G5 is scheduled to be unveiled next week on the MWC 2016 event. The device has been making unofficial appearances since last few weeks. We have seen various benchmark tests pop up, analyzing the hardware of the flagship. As far as the outer design is concerned, we didn’t have solid leaks until recently.
Apparently the still to be launched LG G5 is up for sale on a e-commerce website in Dubai. Crazy as it sounds, someone got his/her hands on an LG G5 days before its official release. In addition to that, that person put that unit up for sale for about $680.
As claimed by the seller, the phone has a valid IMEI and is still holding its original packaging. Needless to say, the condition is claimed to be “perfect inside and out”.
The device shown above all-but confirm the rumors flying around about the features LG G5 might have. First of all we can clearly see the fingerprint reader at the back of the device. It was expected that LG will be introducing a similar fingerprint scanner in its flagship device like the one the featured in LG V10. Furthermore the device seems to be made completely out of metal which too confirms the previous rumors. Next up, a leak by @evleaks previously claimed the upcoming LG G5 will come with a dual camera at the back. Apparently their claim seems to be true.
Although this seems to be the most legit leak so far, there still remain the possibility of this being a hoax advertisement. We can’t see a removable battery option which was being expected from the device.
Other than that we already know that LG G5 and its probable competitor Samsung Galaxy S7 will be equipped with similar features and components. For example, both phones are featuring 4 GB RAM along with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. Other rumors include a 5.6-inch QHD display, metal design with a removable battery. Furthermore, both of them will feature an Always on Display which will allow its users to check the current date/time and various notifications like unread messages, missed calls and unread emails without actually unlocking the phone first.

Last but not the least, LG G5 will definitely be announced with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. Marshmallow was released last year with numerous new goodies including a completely new app drawer, redesigned app permissions, Doze, and Google Now on Tap.
Stay tuned for latest updates.
