Yesterday we came across renders of an allegedly affordable addition to HTC Desire lineup named, HTC A16. Although the leak by Evan Blass claimed that the entry-level smartphone will be priced at an affordable $150 but no reports on the specifications of the device were provided.
Recently, @LlabTooFer who is a well-known leakster and a ROM developer came up with the components which will be hidden under the hood of the smartphone. As expected from an entry-level smartphone, it will be featuring a Snapdragon 210 SoC, 1.5 GB RAM and an 8GB expandable internal storage. A16 will have a screen sizing up to 5 inches which will be packed with 720 x 2390 pixel resolutions. As far as the camera is concerned, a 8 MP sensor will be placed at the back while a 5MP one will be available at the front.
Apparently HTC might be revealing a rather funky and colorful device this time. The front will feature a camera for selfies along with a set of speakers to provide good audio playback experience. Coming towards the back side of the device, we can see a somewhat large camera accompanied by an LED flash. Apart from that, at the bottom left corner we see two small holes which might be used for a lanyard strap.
For further updates, stay tuned.
