With the Mobile World Congress 2015 just a few weeks ahead, news related to different prospective devices have been making rounds around tech-town. Every manufacturer wants to present their best devices to date at the event. Reports coming in related to Xperia Z4 suggest that we may be looking at Sony’s next flagship at the MWC, which will take place in March. There was a bit of confusion regarding this element because a few weeks ago leaked emails suggested that Sony’s mobile division was in talks with Sony Entertainment Division for product placement of Xperia Z4 and that it would launch about the same time the movie comes out. Maybe Sony has a different smartphone in mind for the movie an will surprise fans with that later this year.
Latest reports confirm that Sony Xperia Z4 has been certified by the Japanese Communication Ministry. The smartphone will be available with three carriers NTT DoCoMo, Softbank and KDDI. It will support LTE and Voice-over-LTE connectivity too. Apart from Japan, it looks like that Xperia Z4 also got the stamp of approval from US authorities at the FCC, as one mystery device just made rounds there. Not much about the mystery device is known but looking at Sony’s device lineup Xperia Z4 seems to be the logical answer. If the device indeed is Xperia Z4 than it looks as if we will be updating you about this in a few weeks. Our hunch is that it will be unveiled at the MWC but you never know when a company decides to stage a separate event to keep its device in spotlight instead of it getting overshadowed at a big event by competitor’s latest devices.
We do not have the confirmed specifications of the device but according to the latest rumors the smartphone will either sport a 5.5/5.2-inch 1440 x 2560p display. The Xperia Z4 will be powered by 64-bit octa-core Qulacomm Snapdragon 810 processor and will be accompanied by a 4 GB RAM. Some rumors suggest that the Xperia Z4 will be available in two variants and one will have a 3 GB RAM. The device will sport a 20.7-megapixel main and 5-megapixel selfie-shooter and will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop. As these are the rumored specifications so by the time Xperia Z4 makes an appearance some features may turn out to be different than the ones speculated about. We hope that all the changes made make the smartphone one of the contenders for the best device out by any company yet for 2015. Stay tuned to stay on track on all the latest developments about Xperia Z4.
