Sony to unveil new ‘water resistant’ devices at the MWC 2015

We do know that Sony will not be unveiling the much anticipated Xperia Z4 the MWC, as the company will be launching it somewhere in summer. The question that loomed large in everyone’s mind was that what they will be bringing for the event, or like the Xperia Z4, would Sony also be a ‘no show’ at the event. According to the latest reports, that’s not the case, Sony will be participating the event and they will also be introducing some new devices too.

Sony claims that it will introduce something that is ‘slimmer, lighter and brighter’. Two of the speculated devices that will grace the event are the Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia M4 Aqua. Let’s see what both of these devices have of offer.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet will most probably sport a 10.1-inch ‘2k’ display. It will be powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm 810 processor as Sony stated that it will have the ‘latest ultra fast processor’, so that seems to fit the bill. The tablet will run on Android 5.0 and will be equipped with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage that is expandable. The device will most probably be dust and water resistant.

The Xperi M4 Aqua is mid-range device by Sony. Most of its features and specifications are still not confirmed. It will be powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop and will support LTE connectivity. The device will most probably be IP68-certified which implies that it will be water resistant. Sony will hold its event on 2nd March at the MWC. Stay tuned to get to know more about what else Sony has up its sleeve for the event.
