Last month a device with a model number ‘H850’ popped up on GFXBench which was followed by a confirmation by an LG Executive. The official reaffirmed that a variant of LG G5 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 is under consideration. Apparently LG went ahead with their decision and listed the H850 for sale on the company’s Panama website.
For those who aren’t familiar with the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 SoC (aka SD652) – it is a Octa core CPU which includes four 1.4GHz ARM Cortex-A53 cores and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A72 cores. The device listed on LG Panama website hosts a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor.
As far as other specifications of this particular LG G5 are concerned, the device will be available in two different RAMs – 3GB and 4 GB. Internal storage capacity amounts to 32 GB. Other specifications of the smartphone are similar to LG G5 with Snapdragon 820 SoC under its hood. Both smartphones will sport 5.3 inch QHD display with 16MP/8MP camera combination. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed while a 2800 mAh battery will provide the juice.
It should be noted that SD652 variant will only be available for customers residing in Latin America. Stay tuned for further updates.
