Samsung Z1 Secret Launch Event in India

Well it looks as if Samsung Z1 will definitely be launching on 18th January,2015. A secret launch event in India that took place today reveals the full specifications of the device and how it will look. People were skeptical about its release, as the launch has been delayed a couple of times before. It was supposed to launch in Russia in Q3 but then Samsung re-worked their decision and decided t being it out in India in December, but also due to some unnamed reason was delayed till 18th January. Well Samsung Z1 has been one of the most ‘speculated’ devices by the company, as it is the first smartphone to be powered by Samsung’s own operating system: Tizen. Today’s secret launch event in India reveals the full specification and features of the smartphone.
Samsung Z1 will be powered by a Tizen 2.3 dual-core processor, a 768 MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which is extendable, thanks to the microSD card slot available. The smartphone will sport a 4 inch 800 x 480 pixel PLS TFT display and will be equipped with 3 MP rear and VGA front camera. The rear camera will have a fixed-focused lens and LED flash. Samsung Z1 will be powered by a 1500 mAH battery and will come with a dual-sim capability and comes with a 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity options.
Well the latest leaks on Samsung Z1 also suggest that it will come with the leather back, which will give it a premium feel. Some other features that the smartphone will be equipped with are the Ultra Power Saving Mode, Auto-Selfie Mode, low-light photography and offline map access as well. The smartphone will retail at $90 and will be available for consumers next month online. For people who buy Samsung Z1, Indian carriers Reliance and Aircel will offer 500 MB of free 3G data for six months.
