Samsung to unveil Galaxy S6 on 1st March at the MWC, invitation are out

Samsung fans mark your calendars, as the manufacturer will be unveiling the much anticipated Galaxy S6 on 1st March at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Samsung as per tradition always announces the S-series flagship at the MWC and this year is no different. Huawei an HTC will also be unveiling their new smartphones at the event but the expected LG G4 and Sony Xperia Z4 have bowed out of the event, as they will show off their new flagships at a dedicate event in summer.

Samsung’s invitation’s tag line says ‘what’s next’ and a contrast of black and white colors adds to the hint of mystery. A curved line can also be seen at the top portion of the image, which along with the tag line can indicate that the company last time around introduced Galaxy Note Edge, what they can bring this time around or the curved line can be an indication of Samsung reworking on their S-series and hence redefining the new handset. Maybe the company may also announce the Galaxy S6 Edge at the event along with the Galaxy S6.

Beforehand it was reported that Samsung will hold its event on 2nd March now the company has officially confirmed the date as 1st March. It will be interesting to see what the Samsung has to offer in what one of its executives says while talking about S6 an ‘innovative and premium handset’.
