Samsung Teases The Gear S2 Smartwatch, Launching At IFA Next Month

Samsung’s upcoming smart watch, which is making rounds of the rumor mills with the name Orbis is on its way. There were speculations that this watch will be unveiled along side the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge at the New York launch event, but it looks like Samsung wants to save something for IFA, Berlin. Samsung usually unveils the next generation Galaxy Note device but this time Samsung did a bit different. The Note and S6 Edge saw an early launch, and for now, we’ve something to expect at IFA.

Samsung teased the watch at the unpacked event today. Samsung didn’t highlight the tech specs of the device, but it only shown a round smart watch with different screen panels. The watch is going to be named as Samsung Gear S2. Gear S2 is rumored to carry a 1.18 inch round display with 360×360 pixels and 305 ppi. This is going to be Samsung’s very first round smart watch. At the moment, we don’t have a handful of information about this watch, but we sure will be bringing you all the updates live once the event IFA event 2015 goes up in Berlin.
