Who wouldn’t want to watch a movie or stream a video while lying back on their easy chair. But your hands get tired while holding your phone for prolonged periods, don’t they? Well, apparently, Samsung just might have just come up with an interesting solution to this.
Patently Mobile recently discovered a patent made by Samsung which includes a state of the art and ergonomic stylus pen which can also be used as a kickstand when it is halfway inserted into its slot before bending. This eye-catching design by Samsung might just solve the problem of its customers without compromising the designs of its phones.
We have already seen phones with different stands which can be used to place them on a table with a good viewing angle. Unfortunately, they came with many negative points as they not only were difficult to use, they didn’t really quite fit with phones with metal and glass backs.
As far as the design of the stylus is concerned, this can be observed from the schematics that the stylus has a unique lock system. It will give a sturdy feel when you are using the pen as the joint will be held firmly in a locked position. After you insert half of the stylus and bend it, the lock disengages and therefore allows it to be used as a kickstand. Last of all, to insert the stylus back in, you just need to reverse bend the stylus which again locks it in a straight position after which you can insert it completely.
There is still no accurate news as of when Samsung will be introducing this innovative S-Pen for commercial use. To stay updated on their product release, keep checking our website.
