Whether it is a legal battle, or attempting to outsell its biggest rival Apple, Samsung comes up with the most clever approaches when it wants to market the Galaxy Note 8. The latest attempt features a long-time Apple iPhone user that has had a change of heart and has decided to switch to the Android side of things and what better way to start your experience than by unboxing and using the Galaxy Note 8.

Samsung makes a clever ad depicting a long-time iPhone user switching to the Galaxy Note 8

If you take a close look at the ad, it is the year 2007, and there is a long line around an Apple Store in 2007 that is gearing up for the launch of the iPhone, the very first one from Apple and something that introduced a generation of touch-based smartphones. Like it or not, before Apple released the first iPhone, Samsung phones came with a lot of physical keys, and the tech giant has slowly been improving its touch-based phones with every year.

With the Galaxy Note 8, critics are calling it the best Android flagship you can buy right now and with everything that is going for it, there is no denying how far Samsung has come in both the software and hardware department. There are rumors that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are going to be released early in 2018 to get an early lead against the competition, so the Galaxy Note 8 will be considered as a plateau with which Samsung can further improve its devices.

However, the debate between an iPhone and Samsung’s devices will always be an ongoing battle. To boil it down, it all depends on personal preference; some people consider an iPhone to be better and some consider the Galaxy Note 8 to be a better handset of the two.

For now, you’re more than welcome to check out how cleverly Samsung has made the ad and we wish more of these are introduced in the future.
