Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with S-Pen leak ahead of MWC launch

We already know that Samsung Galaxy S8 will not be unveiled at the MWC 2017. Samsung will be announcing their new high-end tablet Galaxy Tab S3 and it was also hinted in the invitations that they sent out. Galaxy Tab S3 was supposed to be announced last year in the end of the 3Q 2016, but with the company caught in the Galaxy Note 7 crisis the idea was scrapped. New images of Galaxy Tab S3 with the S-Pen stylus have leaked giving us an idea of how the new tablet will look like.

The images were posted on the German website WinFuture.de, along with a report which mentions that there will be no 8-inch model of Galaxy Tab S3, as was the case with the predecessor. In addition, the tablet will come with an S-Pen, but it will not have a docking space in the devices and will only be shipped along side the tablet.

In terms of design, we are not looking at something new. The tablet looks very familiar to Galaxy Tab S2. The home button with the bezels are at the bottom of the display. It seems that design changes sought in Galaxy S8 have not been pushed to other Samsung lineups.

Galaxy Tab S3 will sport a 9.7-inch display with a 2048 x 1536p resolution display. The tablet will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, paired with a 4GB RAM. A 12MP main camera and 5MP front facing camera adorn the device. There is a possibility that in some of the markets Samsung will ship the table with its own Exynos 7420. The fingerprint scanner will be embedded in the home button. Galaxy Tab S3 will be available in two colors: silver and black and it is expected to retail at around $500.
