Samsung‘s upcoming flagship, Galaxy S8 is the most anticipated devices of the year. One the questions on everyone’s mind is that when will Galaxy S8 be unveiled? @Ricciolo1, says that Galaxy S8 will be unveiled on 29th March and the launch date will be in April. The tweeter @Ricciolo1 in the past has tipped on different devices quite accurately, so we can say that there is some truth in the tweeted claim.

We already know that Samsung will be launching the Galaxy S8 in April. The speculated dates earlier put the launch dates at 17th April. Apparently the etch giant wants to take time testing the device for any issues that it may face.

The new information also suggests that Samsung will not unveil the Galaxy S8 at the MWC next month. Usually Samsung always holds their unpacked event one day before the event starts to show their new flagship. It seems that it will not be happening this time around. The device will be shown at the MWC next month but only to a handful of people which means investors, people from the industry and selected media outlets. This means that Samsung will be having a dedicated event for the launch of Galaxy S8 on 29th March.

Samsung will be launching two variants, the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus. Both devices will be equipped with Snapdragon 835 chipset and a 6 GB RAM. It will sport a 5.7 and 6.2 inch Gorilla Glass 5 Super AMOLED display. The home button has been given a boot and the bezels have been decreased to give users a true edge-to-edge experience. Galaxy S8 is tipped to be priced at $849.
