Samsung will be launching their highly anticipated flagship devices Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in global markets on April 21. The Korean tech giant unveils their S-series flagship at the MWC, but this year that is not the case. After the discontinuation of Galaxy Note 7, the company decided to take extra time to test the devices for any issues that may occur. In addition, that would also give users the assurance that how meticulous the testing and the manufacturing process has been. Samsung within this time made the report of the reasons Galaxy Note 7 crashed public, along with talking about the steps that have taken to make the devices safe.

Launch dates for Samsung Galaxy S8, though not confirmed were already speculated for mid-April. In this situation LG, Samsung’s arch rival decided to go ahead and bring their flagship early in the market. LG G6 will be launching in South Korea on 10th March, which gives LG a space of five weeks before Galaxy S8 arrives in the market. LG to tip sales in their favor is working very hard with an aggressive marketing campaign aimed at creating hype for their device. If LG G6 does well, there is a strong possibility that Samsung will open up pre-orders for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+

Even though arriving late there are a lot of key factors that work in Samsung’s favor, one the design changes and top of the line specs. Apart from the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, Samsung has always produced top of the line flagships, so this is something that people will definitely consider. Samsung will be showing the promo of Galaxy S8 at the Mobile World Congress over the weekend and also announce the dates on which they will unveil the devices. It is speculated that Samsung will be announcing its flagship in two global events which will take place in USA and Europe.
