Samsung will be unveiling their Galaxy S-flagship next month, earlier reports claimed that the device will be announced on 29 March, but till it yet it is not confirmed. Samsung will be announcing the dates on 27th February at the MWC. Galaxy S8 is one of the most anticipated devices of the year, and as with any flagship updates, news and rumors are always about. We have seen different cases and renders of Galaxy S8 to date, now we have cases by UAG which show the device render along with the case.

Galaxy S8 will not have the home button and this detail has been consistent in all the renders and alleged live images seen to date. As there is no home button, this has given designers the chance to increase the screen to body ratio. So as a result the new design will have very slim bezels with an increased display size giving the device a true edge-to-edge display. Both the variants, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will have a dual curved display.

The fingerprint sensor will be found on the side of the camera at the rear. The volume button and the StandBy/Power Button are stacked on the left side of the frame and on the right side there is one button to power up Samsung’s own AI assistant Bixby. In terms of specs, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will have a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch display respectively. The devices will be equipped with Snapdragon 835 SoC, which has been produced using the 9nm process. The smartphone will feature a 4GB/6GB RAM with 64GB of base storage.

How legitimate are the design details? Well case makers do get information from the company about the dimensions of the device and what it will look like so they can start producing accessories. So, some of the details are true, but the finalized versions may have some changes.
