There is no doubt that Samsung always tries its best to stay ahead of the game in terms of innovating their technology and products. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is the recent proof of that fact in the smartphone arena and the company will be unveiling a dual-sided curved display device, Galaxy S6 Edge at the MWC. In a recent blog post, the company hints that their future smartphones will come with wireless charging as they are working to optimize the user experience and they believe that this is one of the ways to do that.
Deciphering the post published by Samsung on the history and development of wireless charging we get the hint that Samsung’s upcoming flagship which will be unveiled on March 1, Galaxy S6 could be wireless charged. If that happens then Samsung will get brownie points for the respective feature. A lot of us may be skeptical about this aspect but the company assures that they are working on developing an eco system which will support wireless charging.
Samsung has declared 2015 as, ‘A Landmark Year for Wireless Charging’. So there is a high probability that Galaxy S6 which will have a metal unibody will come with with this feature.
It is expected that 2015 will be a landmark year for the growth of wireless charging deployment, as wireless charging stations will begin to appear in more and more public places. Samsung will accelerate to democratize this wireless charging technology with compelling smartphones.
