Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) with 4.8-inch display and 12MP camera sighted at GFXBench

Samsung’s upcoming flagship maybe the talk of tech town but there are other devices that the company is working on along the side. The company Galaxy C Pro series and Galaxy J (2017) series device have been in the news making their way to different markets. Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) was just sighted on GFXBench revealing the specs of the device.

Samsung J5 (2017) features a 4.8-inch 1280 x 720 p display. The smartphone is equipped with Samsung’s own Exynos 7870 SoC paired with Mali-T830 GPU. The device will have a 2GB RAM and 16GB of native storage which can be extended. In terms of the camera specs we will be looking at a 12 MP main and a 12MP selfie shooter. The battery capacity has not been given but it will run Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy J series devices aim at consumers looking for a smartphone with good specs and at an economical price point. The company in the last few years has started paying attention to other smartphones apart from their flagship to retain market space. As the Galaxy J5 (2017) has been sighted on  GFXBench we will be looking at the device soon.
