Samsung had scheduled the release of its Galaxy J1 (2016) on April 13, however the all new budget-friendly smartphone is available via Telus as we speak. You can get your hands on the J1 (2016) for $150 off-contract. On the other hand, Bell will be launching the smartphone on the release date announced by Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) features a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, we have a 1.3 GHz Exynos 3475 quad-core processor coupled with a Mali-T720 GPU. In addition to that, 1 GB of RAM, 5 megapixel primary camera, 2 megapixel selfie shooter, 8 GB internal storage (expandable via microSD slot) reside inside the smartphone. Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, FM radio and microUSB 2.0. Last but not the least, a 2,050 mAh battery provides the juice to the handset. Please note that you wont we getting features like NFC, fingerprint scanner and fast charging for a pricetag of $150.
