Just hours after the release of Samsung Galaxy C5, its elder sibling has been spotted on the official website of TENAA (Chinese regulatory). The device in question is the Galaxy C7. Note that the Galaxy C5 was launched today about one week after it was given certification by TENAA. So, the release of Samsung Galaxy C7 might be just around the corner.
The listing revealed major specifications of the device along with some detailed images. Apparently, the smartphone sports 5.7″ Super AMOLED screen with Full HD display. Reportedly, the device will be powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC with octa-core processor. In the memory department, the device boasts 4 GB of RAM and two different storage capacity options – 32 GB and 64 GB. In addition to that, microSD slot is also available for storage expansion. Moving on to the camera section, the device features a 16 megapixel primary shooter with the capability of 1080p video shoots. At the front, an 8 megapixel shooter is available for selfies. Needless to say, Samsung’s TouchWizzed version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come out-of-the-box.
The 3,300 mAh battery finalizes the device’s weight at 165 grams, whereas it measures 156.6×77.2×6.7(mm). Samsung Galaxy C7 will probably be offered in four different colour variants – Gold, White, Black and Rose Gold. Last but not the least, sources are expecting a price tag around $200.
The younger sibling, Samsung Galaxy C5, was released today with 5.2 inch Super AMOLED screen (1080p resolution) display while it’ll be powered by the Snapdragon 617 chipset which contains an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, and the Adreno 405 GPU. In addition to that, the handset will hosts 4GB of RAM while two different memory options, 32GB and 64GB, are offered. Moving on to some other features of the Galaxy C5, we have a 16 megapixel (f/1.9 ) camera at the rear side while the selfies and video chats will be handled by an 8 megapixel (f/1.9 ) front shooter. A 2,600 mAh battery finalizes the weight of the smartphone at 153 grams while it measures specifically 145.9 × 72 × 6.7mm. It is also announced that the smartphone will come in different colour variants including Gold and Rose Gold, while Android Marshmallow will come running on all memory/colour variants. Other features include a 128GB capacity microSD slot, dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC (with Samsung Pay support), USB and GPS.
