We have a good news for people who loved the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) which was launched in March, but were not able to get their hands on one because the smartphone was exclusively launched for China. Apparently the device might soon be launched in other markets of the world too.
These speculations are based on the listing by Zauba (India’s import/export website) which features a smartphone named Samsung SM-A910F. Note that Chinese version of A9 Pro has a model number SM-A9100. Even though there is no news yet, regarding the regions in which the A9 Pro will be extended to, a Polish retailer has reportedly stared accepting pre-orders for the handset.
Galaxy A9 Pro sports a 6 inch 1080p display. Under the hood, the device will host the octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset along with 4GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 16MP rear and 8MP front camera. In addition to that a 5000 mAh battery provides juice to the smartphone running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
For the ones who don’t know about Android Marshmallow; Marshmallow features many change from its predecessor. Some of the major changes are described ahead. Firstly, Doze– this feature simply puts the smartphone into a ‘deeper sleep’ when it hasn’t been used for a prolonged period of time. As a result, the battery life of the smartphone is drastically increased. Moving on the next big change: Now on Tap – Marshmallow can predict your needs by a simple long press on the home button that provides quick access to learn more about the hang out spot or how to get there. You can use this feature to search for restaurantsand even the type of food it serves. Last but not the least, the all new app drawer – as suggested by the heading, Marshmallow comes with a completely redesigned app drawer. Main improvements include the app search mechanism. You can scroll around with alphabet scrolling and can pin you favorite apps on the top to gain easy and fast access.
Note that the Galaxy A9 Pro is costs 3499 yuan ($540) in China.
