Samsung announces Galaxy X Cover 4

We have been hearing chatter about the Galaxy X Cover 4 for the last few weeks indicating that this smartphone is on the way. Well the Korean tech giant has officially announced Galaxy X Cover 4 today. The smartphone is rugged and has been designed to sustain harsh environments. Galaxy X Cover 4 will be hitting the markets in April, so if this is the device you had an eye on, mark your calendar.

In terms of specs Galaxy X Cover 4 features a 4.99-inch TFT display with a 720 x 1280 p resolution. Under the hood the device is equipped with a quad-core processor, paired with a 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be extended via the microSD card. Galaxy X Cover 4 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The smartphone will run Android 7.0 Nougat and  is powered by a 2800 mAh battery. LTE and NFC support are also available.

In addition the device also has IP-68 water and dust resistance certification. The device has been designed keeping in view different extreme environments and situation it maybe used in. It has the US military standard MIL-STD 810G. Which in simple language means it can sustain shocks, vibration, extreme sunlight along with low and high temperatures. As the device is supposed to work in extreme conditions, it has a sensitive display, so you will be able to use it with your gloves on.
