Rumor has it: LG G6 will have a non-removable 3200 mAh battery

LG has been in the news a lot lately, courtesy of their upcoming flagship LG G6. As the announcement dates near, we get to some new tid bit of information. Well rumors apart, LG itself has been dropping teasers to show what features and specs we can expect from G6. A new report out of Korea suggests that LG G6 will have 3200mAh battery which is 400mAh more than its predecessor.

The battery will be non-removable, as the company towards making the smartphone water and dust resistant. In LG G5, they used a removable battery along with a modular design, which wasn’t a very popular design. This time around they have changed the design keep it more streamlined and have focused on equipping the the device with best components. LG has already stated that the batteries used in LG G6 are safe from over heating, as they have used copper pipes which will distribute heat.

In terms of battery life, the report indicates that the smartphone was tested with 3200mAh battery and provided 12 hours of battery time with normal internet activity. In one of the teasers that LG has posted, they claimed that it will have ‘More Juice. To Go’, pointing towards a longer battery life which is one of the coveted features among consumers at the moment.

LG will be unveiling LG G6 on 26 February, just a day before MWC officially kicks off. LG has promised some nifty features like the presence of an AI-assistant, safer battery and more battery life, we are looking forward to the other features and specs the device has on board.
