Sony’s 2013 mid-ranger, the Xperia ZR took birth running Android 4.1.2 JellyBean. Being a part of Sony’s flagship Xperia Z series, this device happens to be pretty lucky. Sony update the Xperia ZR to Android 4.2.2, 4.3 JellyBean. The device also received Android 4.4 KitKat and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It looks like Sony wants to keep the Xperia ZR users happy, so it rolled out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update as well. The new update brings a lot of performance enhancements and bug fixes. It also brings the missing close all button back in the recent apps menu of the phone. The battery life has become a little better as compared to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
