The way the leaks related to Samsung’s upcoming devices have been making rounds, it would be apt to say its ‘raining leaks’. In focus right now are the images of the Samsung’s dual-sided curved display, the Galaxy S6 Edge. The device has already impressed us by its GeekBench scores, cannot wait to see how it looks when it launches on 1st March at the MWC.
The latest bevy of ‘hot off the press’ images were leaked by CNET Korea but SamMobile speculates that these 3-D renders of the devices seem fake. We agree with their assessment. The placement of the front-facing camera and the LED flash seems to have shifted. The renders show the device is curvier and a bit thick than the one seen in the promotional image by Sprint leaked.
Samsung Galaxy S6 will be launched along with Galaxy S6 at the MWC. The company has made a lot of different changes this time around in terms of materials use and features. They have switched to a metal unibody instead of a cheap plastic body and swapped the Qualcomm 810 chipset for their own Exynos processor which if the benchmark scores are something to go by, is an impressive substitution. MWC will be an interesting event, who will be the king at Samsung’s event, the smartphones or the smartwatch. Stay tuned to see who gets crowned.
