With LG G6 arriving in the market on 10th March, Samsung wants to give consumers something to look forward to. In addition, they are betting on their top notch specs to tip the sales in their favor. In the past Samsung in their pre-order period for Galaxy S7 have sold 220,000 units and for Note 7 they got out 400,000 units. Even with the Note 7 fiasco, we expect Galaxy S8 to sell more units in the pre-order time than its predecessor.

As per tradition, the upcoming flagship will have two variants, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Both the devices will have a dual curved display with Galaxy S8 having a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display and Galaxy S8+ having a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display. Under the hood the device will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and for some markets it will have Exynos 8895. The 12MP dual pixel camera will adorn the device at the rear with an 8MP front facing camera. The smartphone will come with IP68 rating for dust and water resistant and will debut Samsung’s own voice based AI assistant Bixby.

Samsung will officially announce the device on 29th March. With a few weeks to go, expect more leaks and rumors to make rounds.
