Every Samsung lover has his/her eyes set on the fast approaching MWC 2016 event, scheduled to be held on 21st February. According to a reliable Dutch source, customers will be able to place their pre-orders starting from the same day Samsung announces its new flagship smartphones. Moreover the same source claims that the first batch’s shipment is expected to roll out on March 11th.
That’s not all guys, as claimed by retail insiders, the customers who place their orders starting from 21st February till 10th March will get a FREE Samsung Gear VR.
Samsung Gear VR is a mobile virtual reality device developed by Samsung Electronics in collaboration with Oculus VR. A compatible Galaxy device acts as the headset’s display and processor, while the Gear VR unit itself contains the high field of view lenses as well as a custom IMU for rotational tracking which connects to the smartphone via micro-USB.
Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is expected to have a curvy back resembling to Galaxy Note 5. Unlike the predecessor,Galaxy S6, the new product has a tidied up camera hump which gives it a more sleek look.
The new flagship model is expected to have a better battery life, 15% increase in processor and graphics performance, 12MP Britecell rear camera, and waterproofing. The battery is allegedly capable of charging to 80% in just 30 minutes. Other than the mentioned Water-resistance and the 12MP rear camera, the S7 will have a f/1.7 aperture camera which will feature a surrounding with the same color as of the device. As far as the price is concerned, Galaxy S7 is expected to lie around $740 and Galaxy S7 edge around $890.
