Not long ago, Oppo launched its F1 smartphone in Mumbai, India. Since then the manufacturer has been revealing bit-by-bit information regarding the Plus variant of the Oppo F1. Based on various reports and some official announcements, except for the larger 5.5 inch Full HD display the Oppo F1 Plus will host the same exterior design and internal specifications as its smaller version.
A recent development took place though, Oppo officially posted a teaser on its Indonesian Facebook page which gives us a glimpse of a new feature in F1 Plus. Apparently the upcoming smartphone will host a finger print scanner. As you can see in the image below, Oppo reveals a new sensor, most probably embedded on the rear side of the handset. The tagline ” Plus Security “, “Coming Soon” and the hashtag “#OPPOF1Plus” speak for themselves. As far as other upgraded specifications of the smartphone are concerned, it’ll host 4 GB of RAM instead of 3GB. In addition to that, an enhanced selfie shooter is also expected.
Reportedly the Oppo F1 Plus will be sold for INR 26,990 ($395) while the “Coming soon” tagline confirms the fact that the Plus version is already on its way to Indonesia. Stay tuned for further updates.
