Oppo R1C: First Images Out ahead of Launch day

Well yesterday we told you that Oppo maybe unveiling their first smartphone for 2015 the Oppo R1C on 14th January. Today one site released the live images of the alleged Oppo R1C. The smartphone in the pictures released does look like the one we saw in the posters but we also know how hot the rumor mill gets when any smartphone is about to release with leaks and speculations.


Let’s see what we know about Oppo’s upcoming smartphone. The company is known for bringing out products with high specs bundled up in a beautiful design. This stays true for the Oppo R1C according to the images seen to this point. The most intriguing feature of the smartphone is the dual-layer of glass, one at the front and one at the back. Reports suggest the back cover of the device will sport a sapphire crystal glass.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch display with a 720 x 1280 resolution. The device will be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset, accompanied with a 2 GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage with a microSD slot. Oppo R1C will sport a 13-megapixel main and 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The device will also support a 4G LTE connectivity and will be powered by a 2420mAh battery. Oppo R1C will reportedly be priced at $400. Most probably this device will come to countries that already have an Oppo presence.
