Oppo just made it’s all new F1 Plus smartphone available for sale in some selected markets. However, for the case of Europe, customers residing in UK can get their hands on the handset from May for £299 while €389 will be a price tag set for customers outside UK. Moving on to India, Southeast Asia, North Africa and Middle East the F1 Plus will be available for $400. Note that exact numbers w.r.t local currencies are yet to be confirmed.
According to Oppo, the F1 Plus is in fact an international version of the Oppo R9. Thus naturally the smartphone will sport a 5.5 inch 1080p AMOLED screen while it’ll host a octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset under the hood. This chipset will be accompanied by 4 GB of RAM while two different storage variants, 32GB and 64GB, will be made available. Moving on to the camera of the handset, it bears the similar “selfie expert” title like the Oppo R9. F1 Plus will feature a 16 megapixel selfie shooter which offers a f/2.0 lens with a 78.1-degree field of view. Alternatively, a 13 mega pixel rear camera is also available which offers a f/2.2 aperture and 80.6-degree field of view. The 145 gram smartphone measures 151.8 x 74.3 x 6.6mm and hosts a 2,850 mAh battery. In addition to that, F1 Plus comes standard with VOOC Flash charge.
Indians can get their hands on Golf and Rose Gold variants of Oppo F1 Plus from mid-April while a similar handset with a different title, Oppo R9, will soon hit Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore and Australia. Stay tuned for further updates.
