OnePlus 5T could look very similar to OPPO R11s with 8GB of RAM detailed in leak

Predecessors of the OnePlus 5T have not shown a unique smartphone design with the exception of the OnePlus One but it looks like things might change with the release of the upcoming flagship. Unfortunately, a specifications leak shows that though the OnePlus 5T will have a high percentage of screen wrapped around the metal body in an 18:9 aspect ratio, its exterior will look vastly similar to the OPPO R11s.

OnePlus 5 was also criticized for sporting a look that was similar to the iPhone 7 Plus, and from the backside, the OnePlus 5T might strongly resemble its competitor’s product. However, if the manufacturer fails to impress in the design language of its smartphones, then perhaps it will be able to attract customers by providing them with an array of powerful internals while issuing the flagship with a very competitive price.

According to a GFXBench specifications leak, the smartphone will not only have an 18:9 display, but up to 8GB of RAM, being very similar to the OnePlus 5 in the hardware section. The overall size of the device is expected to be the same as its predecessor with the exception that now you’ll have more screen to deal with and be more careful regarding its handling.

The dual-camera feature will also be retained, along with the optical zoom addition. According to the specifications leak, the OnePlus 5T will also have a cheaper 6GB RAM model, which will have 64GB of internal storage, but no expandable storage slot.

The more expensive version will have 128GB of storage, which should be more than enough, even for a smartphone enthusiast. Pricing of the OnePlus 5T has not been provided, but it is sure to be more costly than its predecessor given the fact that it will sport a near bezel-less display.
