Without wasting any time, the OnePlus 5T has officially gone on sale. Just like the OnePlus 5, the current and might we say slightly upgraded model will be sold in two RAM models.

OnePlus 5T is finally on sale with both 64 and 128GB storage models available

Both of these RAM models will also offer different levels of storage. For example, the 6GB LPDDR4X RAM version will give the user 64GB of storage while the 8GB RAM version will give you 128GB storage. Needless to say, OnePlus has been following a clever strategy where the company wants you to spend more money on a device if you are going to require more RAM and more memory.

Just like the previous iterations of OnePlus’ flagship phones, none of these models feature expandable memory so you will have to make up with what is present inside the OnePlus 5T. In the US right now, the cheaper model offers a 7-day shipping time and costs $499. As for the 128GB model, it has a 4-day shipping period and will cost you $559.

To make the deal better, all orders include free shipping and a ‘15-day no-hassle return’. OnePlus is also providing a few free things with the purchase of the OnePlus 5T. You get a OnePlus 5T Protective Case and 3D Tempered Glass Screen Protector bundle at $50 off. For US customers, please note that the OnePlus 5T is compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and other smaller carriers.

However, it is not compatible with the carriers Verizon and Sprint. One more thing that you need to know is that OnePlus 5T is not going to be updated to Android Oreo this year. Instead, only OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will receive the update in 2017.

These are just a few things that you have to deal with when purchasing a OnePlus 5T but at least the hardware is above satisfactory.
