The OnePlus 5T is scheduled to take place during an event in New York City, with the Chinese manufacturer introducing the near-bezel-less flagship to the press. In a previous leak, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau mentioned that the phone will cost the user around $600 but did not bother to state if this is going to be the price for the base version or the highest configured model.

OnePlus 5T all set to get announced on November 16, sales start from November 21

In case you were wondering, the highest configured smartphone version will have 8GB of RAM plus 128GB of storage. In terms of looks, it will look very similar to the OPPO R11s, but you guys will probably forget about all of that when they get to know how much firepower is packing in this Godzilla-hardware phone.

OnePlus does not look to be changing the design of the phone but with the 18:9 aspect ratio present, along with a resolution measuring at 2160 x 1080, it will increase the total aesthetics of the phone. At the end of the day, OnePlus 5T could feature the same size as the OnePlus 5 despite its 6-inch display, so it is highly possible that you guys get to see the same battery capacity as that found in the predecessor, which is 3,000mAh.

That is not a whole lot of capacity which is why the OnePlus 5T could potentially be a game changer in this regard. Think about it, the OnePlus 3T featured a 3,400mAh battery which brings forth a 400mAh difference between the cell found in the OnePlus 3.

This difference could definitely be present in the OnePlus 5T, but it will also mean that you will be forced to pay a premium for the flagship. Owners of the original OnePlus 5 might not bother too much but for those that want to own a near-bezel-less phone for around $600, are you gearing up for this announcement or not?
